I'm originally from Millington Tennessee and moved out to Tucson Arizona in
the early 80's and have lived here ever since. I went to high school
at Flowing Wells and graduated in 2000. While in high school I was a
member of the drum line and a very active member of the ARMY R.O.T.C.
While in high school I was also a very active member of the Rural/Metro Fire
Department explorers program, and eventually got hired as a 911 dispatcher,
wildland firefighter and an EMT. After working in the field as a EMT
and Wildland Firefighter I found myself drawn more to the IT and radio work
for the department. I ended up working as a network admin and radio
tech there for many years until I left there to work as a full time radio
technician in Tucson.
In January 2007 I completed my 8 years in the Arizona Army National Guard
as a combat medic (originally 91B). While in the National Guard I
traveled to Ft. Benning Ga, Ft Sam Houston TX, Egypt. My unit was
activated for the initial conflict in Iraq, however our unit never made it
there, instead we provided medical support to the US Military Academy in
West Point NY. I also served in Louisiana for the hurricane
Katrina/Rita relief effort.
I am also active in anything outdoors, from camping, shooting to fishing
etc. I also enjoy going out and exploring ghost towns and just plain
having fun in my jeep.
